Final Fantasy XIV brought back its springtime seasonal Little Ladies' Day event. It'll run from March 2 to March 16, and like any in-game event, it comes with special quests and unique items.
You can head on over to Ul'dah and hit up the Royal Seneschal for the "Pretty in Peaches" quest. Upon completion, you'll receive the Princess's Peach Corsage and a Seneschal's Monocle. They can't be traded, which means they can only be obtained during this seasonal event. The quest itself is a non-combat one and consists primarily of talking to NPCs.

The shop also offers seasonal furniture like a pink-cladded Eastern Stage and a sakura-decorated Little Ladies' Day Banner. You can also purchase Peach and Cherry Confetti for cool effects. Certain items from previous years' Little Ladies Day will also be available.
Little Ladies' Day is inspired by the Japanese springtime festival of Hinamatsuri, also known as Girls’ Day. It's a celebration dedicated to girls and the festivities include bringing out and displaying traditional dolls.
In Final Fantasy XIV, Little Ladies' Day stems from The Legend of the Lost Lady. According to the myth, a sultan who once ruled Ul'dah had a much-loved daughter. She decided to slip out and wander the city one day, and switched clothes with a miller's daughter in order to do so. The sultan, suspecting the miller's family of kidnapping the princess, threw them in prison and tortured them. Once the princess was found and she told the sultan the truth, the ruler then set the miller's family free, apologized, and offered to be the miller's daughter's personal seneschal for a full day. The act was extremely well-received by his subjects, so the sultan made it an annual event. For a day every year, he would select a common girl and be her seneschal.
In other Final Fantasy XIV news, it received a huge update in the Echoes of a Falling Star 5.2 patch. The updated added continuations to the main storyline as well as new bosses, dungeons, and side quests. You can also read GameSpot's review of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers.
