Last month, gaming peripheral company Razer held a DOTA 2 tournament during the recent Singapore IT Show 2012, held from March 8 to 11. The company recently announced the top three teams of the four-day tournament, with the prize pool worth almost $15,000.
Coming in first place was Filipino team Mineski, winning $2,500 in cash and $3,604 in merchandise value. Second place went to Malaysian team Orange eSports, who won $1,000 in cash and $1,860 worth of merchandise. The Singaporean team AeonSports came in third place, winning $500 in cash and $1,430 in merchandise value. The teams that came in positions four to eight won $800 apiece.
Filipino team Mineski won $2,500 in cash and $3,604 in prizes. The last time gamers heard of DOTA 2 for the PC, publisher Valve mentioned that the game is still undergoing a closed beta phase.
