Given the limited internal storage space that Nintendo Switch has, surely you must be interested to know how much space the digital versions of all the titles will occupy. If one of the launches in which you have the target is FIFA 18, we would like to inform you that Nintendo has already revealed its file size.
The page of FIFA 18 on the Nintendo UK site indicates that the download size of FIFA 18 is of 14301.53 MB; that is, just over 14.3 GB. It is important to note that this size only refers to the initial download of the game and, therefore, it is possible that FIFA 18 will receive some type of update on its day of release.
If you do not have 14 GB of available space left on your Nintendo Switch device, we remind you that you have a couple of alternatives. The first is to get a microSD card to expand the memory of your Switch and download the game from the eShop. The other is to buy it in physical format.
We remind you that FIFA 18 for Nintendo Switch is designed to fit for this console. So, this version was developed in a custom engine and although it does not have some features (like The Journey mode), it does take advantage of the hybrid features of Switch.
Of course, you should not worry about its performance, since the title will run at 1080p and 60 frame rate per second in TV mode, while in the portable mode the resolution is 720p.
After the arrival of FIFA 18 on Nintendo Switch was announced, Electronic Arts made it clear that it has worked hard to make the title a unique version that takes advantage of everything the console offers. In fact, the company believes so much in this version that it wants the game to become one of the essential titles for the owners of Switch.
FIFA 18 will debut on September 29th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
