With the new football season set to begin later this month in Europe, it's only natural that EA Sports shared the official system requirements for FIFA 17 PC.

　　You can find them below and they're noticeably higher than last year's edition. For example, FIFA 16's minimum GPUs were AMD Radeon HD 5770 & NVIDIA GTX 650, while the recommended GPUs were AMD Radeon HD 6870 & NVIDIA GTX 460; the latter is now included in the minimum specifications.

　　The recommended CPU was also far inferior (i5 2550K/AMD FX-6350 Six Core), but perhaps the biggest jump is in the hard drive requirements which jumped over three times from 15GB to 50GB.

　　Hopefully this means that FIFA 17 PC will look much better than its predecessor, also thanks to the engine switch to Frostbite.

　　The game will feature the likeness of all 20 Premier League's managers, a first for the series. There's also a single-player story campaign mode, but the biggest changes will be gameplay related.

　　First of all, physical play has been overhauled allowing players to shield the ball under any type of situation. New attacking techniques include a low shot and the ability to direct the ball downwards with headers, while set pieces now offer a lot more options in all cases (free kicks, penalty kicks, corners and throw-ins).

　　Finally, according to EA Sports the new active intelligence system will prompt AI teammates (and rivals while playing against AI) to predict and support the human player in a much better way.

　　FIFA 17 will be available on September 27 in North America and September 29 worldwide, but you'll be able to play early with EA/Origin Access subscriptions on Xbox One and PC as with any Electronic Arts game.
