F9: The Fast Saga finally hit theaters this summer after a bunch of delays. Universal Pictures announced today that Fast & Furious 10, the second-to-last film in the series, will arrive on April 7, 2023, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Fast & Furious 10, directed by Justin Lin, will begin filming in January 2022 according to star Vin Diesel himself, and it's even possible that Fast 10 and 11 will be filmed back-to-back. While Dwayne Johnson has officially severed ties with the series after a feud with Diesel, most of the rest of the cast is expected back, including Diesel himself, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges, and Sung Kang are all set to return, but John Cena hasn't confirmed his return yet.

Plot details on the film are still under wraps, but we're betting on lots of explosions, cars, and exploding cars when the film hits in 2023. Ahead of that, if you haven't yet seen F9, make sure to check out our F9: The Fast Saga review, which called the film "the perfect movie to welcome you back to the theater." We also ranked every Fast & Furious movie, TV, and theme park ride title, and looked back at the original film to see what we've forgotten about The Fast and the Furious in the 20 years since it released.
