If you've never played fantasy football before but have always been curious about it, there's a few things you should know. First, know that it will change the way you watch NFL games on Sunday. Big Packers fan, are you? You won't be anymore. Well, you'll still check in on the Green Bay score at the end of the day but, as a fantasy football player, your attention will more than likely be caught up on the number of interceptions Aaron Brooks chucked, or the number of yards Amani Toomer racked up (and God forbid he manages 98 or 99 yards total, when that last little bit of effort could have earned you another point or two in your league).
Secondly, and more importantly, fantasy football makes you care way too much about positions you never much thought about in the past. If you aren't careful, you'll end up like pissed off at Willie Roaf. Even if you couldn't care less about the Kansas City Chiefs. Especially if you couldn't care less about the Chiefs.
Still, if you're insisting on entering the fantasy football world, here's one piece of advice: There are certain players that should be avoided at all costs.
