Fallout 4 Far Harbor Will Be Bigger Than Oblivion’s Shivering Isles In Size, Survival Mode Entering Beta Next Week-October 2024

The first DLC pack for Fallout 4, the latest entry of the popular series created by Bethesda, has only been released yesterday on all formats, but players are already hungering for more. The most anticipated of the game's already revealed DLC packs is the Far Harbor pack, which promises to bring plenty of additional exciting Fallout 4 action. Not much is currently known about Far Harbor as of now, but something new has managed to surface online a few hours ago.

Bethesda's Pete Hines has recently confirmed that Fallout 4 Far Harbor will be bigger in size than Oblivion Shivering Isles, the expansion released for the now classic The Elder Scrolls title. The Oblivion expansion features over 30 hours of gameplay, so things are definitely looking good for the Fallout 4 Far Harbor expansion.

Yesterday, we have reported that the Fallout 4 Survival Mode is going to go into beta on Steam very soon. A few hours ago, Bethesda has announced through its official Twitter profile that Survival Mode will actually go into beta next week, so PC players will soon be able to check out all the interesting twists this new mode will introduce to the game.

The Fallout 4 Far Harbor expansion will see players traveling to a new location which seems to be much more dangerous than the areas of the main game.

A new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.

Fallout 4 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We'll keep you updated on all future content coming to the game, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
