Fallout 4 1.3 Patch Allows Hacking Robots From Any Distance, New Duplication Glitch Method Detailed-September 2024

The Fallout 4 1.3 patch is finally available on all formats, a patch which comes with plenty of enhancements that vastly improve the experience. The patch, however, also includes some new issues, some of which can be abused to do things that are not normally possible.

Reddit user Singularity_iOS has recently discovered that the Fallout 4 1.3 patch comes with a bug which allows players to hack robots from any distance as long as players scope in on them. The Robotics perk is obviously required to perfom the hacking. The bug has been confirmed for both the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game, so there's a very good chance it's also found in the Xbox One release.

I noticed since 1.3 you can hack robots from any distance as long as you scope in on them. Obviously this requires the Robotics perk. People may need to confirm this as i am on PC and using mods, none of which make this possible by default though.

Among some of the glitches that have been fixed by the Fallout 4 1.3 patch is the Dogmeat Duplication Glitch, which allowed players to duplicate a variety of items. Those who miss this glitch will be happy to know that it's still possible to duplicate items with the help of Dogmeat by following a slightly different method. You can learn more about the matter by checking out the video below.

Yesterday the Fallout 4 1.3 patch has finally hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Among the many improvements included in the patch is the increased object fading distance, which makes the game look considerably better on consoles.

Fallout 4 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We'll let you know more on any future patch, mod and additional content as soon as more comes in so stay tuned for all the latest news on Bethesda's popular role playing game.
