Imagespace is currently wrapping up development on a new PC racing game called F1 2000. Set to be published by EA Sports, this game is modeled after the 2000 Formula 1 season, and it includes licensed drivers, cars, pit crews, and tracks as well as in-depth driver AI and car-handling characteristics courtesy of input by real Formula 1 teams. F1 2000 will also mark the first computer-game appearance of the new F1 track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which will be integrated into the Formula 1 racing circuit later this year.
F1 2000 is scheduled for a simultaneous PC and PlayStation release this spring. We'll keep you informed of its progress, but in the meantime, take a look at the nine screenshots we've included.
