Ex-WWE Superstar to Appear on Arrow
Ex-WWE Superstar to Appear on Arrow-September 2024
Sep 21, 2024 1:44 PM

Former WWE superstar Cody Rhodes hasn't appeared on television since leaving the wrestling promotion in May. However, you'll be able to see Rhodes soon enough, as he's set to make a guest appearance on the CW's Arrow.

The announcement came during a panel at Heroes & Villains FanFest in New Jersey, where Rhodes said that he plans to practice the same "respect and humility" that Arrow star Stephen Amell did when he was in the WWE. It's not yet clear who Rhodes will play, how many episodes he'll appear in, or when they'll air.

Amell made several appearances in WWE shows last year. Rhodes' character Stardust, an intergalactic supervillain, feuded with him in a WWE storyline, which culminated with Stardust stealing Amell's "Celebrity Moment of the Year" trophy at the 2015 Slammy Awards.

In May, Rhodes posted a statement on Twitter which, in addition to explaining why he left the WWE, said, "There's a whole world of film and television and the stage that I might find I have a knack for (maybe I even already got an offer)." It's not confirmed if the offer in question was for Arrow.

In other Arrow-related news, the CW has grand plans to bring Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow together for the network's biggest crossover event. It airs this December.
