Extra Splinter Cell mission coming soon
Extra Splinter Cell mission coming soon-November 2024
Nov 23, 2024 10:52 AM

Ubi Soft Entertainment has today announced that it will release the first downloadable mission for Splinter Cell to Xbox Live users on March 14, the same day that Xbox Live launches in Europe. The new level, which is called Kola Cell, is apparently linked to the original storyline, contains four main objectives, and will be challenging even for players who have completed the original game. There are no plans to release this level for the PC version of Splinter Cell at this time.

"Ubi Soft thanks Tom Clancy Splinter Cell fans for their continued support by providing a free downloadable mission that is just as exciting and intense as the original game," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubi Soft Entertainment. "We are psyched that Xbox Live allows us to bring our best content directly to our fans."

"We're pleased to deliver this extra level of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell through our Xbox Live service," said David Hufford, Xbox marketing manager. "Xbox gamers dug the original game so much that they are fielding for new content that will extend the life of the game, adding hours of intense stealth action Sam Fisher style. It's an excellent example of what Xbox Live gamers expect from many of the hottest games on Xbox."

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is a stealth-based action game in which players assume the role of a covert special agent charged with single-handedly saving the world from a terrorist threat. For more information, check out our full review of the game.
