Distant Corners Entertainment Group, Screenblast, and WildTangent have announced the release of Evilution: The Legend of Helnar, a new 3D Web-based horror game inspired by the latest Creature Features movie, How to Make a Monster. The movie, which premiered on Cinemax yesterday, is about a group of programmers who develop the ultimate scary video game, only to be hunted down by the game's villain.
Evilution: The Legend of Helnar was created by John Hegeman, founder of Distant Corners, and developed by WildTangent. A playable demo of the game is now available for free at Screenblast, and players can purchase the full version of the game for $14.99.
