The mainline Harry Potter film series may have ended, but JK Rowling's magical world lives on with November's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In celebration of the upcoming film's release, IMAX has announced a week-long event where people can see all eight Harry Potter films on IMAX.

　　Starting October 13, you can visit an IMAX theater near you to see the films in the larger, higher-resolution format. Showtimes will vary by location; it's advised that you check in with your local theater about specifics.

　　The first two films, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, have never been digitally remastered for IMAX, according to Entertainment Weekly. There will also be an "exclusive peek" at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the showings.

　　Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them comes to theaters on November 18. The 1920s New York-set film stars Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl, The Theory of Everything) as magizoologist Newt Scamander. The movie is directed by Harry Potter veteran David Yates from a script written by JK Rowling.

　　A sequel to the film has already been confirmed. It will be released on November 16, 2018, with Rowling writing and Yates directing once more.

　　In June, Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe said he would be open to playing the wizard again, but only if the script was strong enough.

　　"The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there. So I am saying, 'No,' for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future."
