Warner Bros. Discovery has removed even more television content from HBO Max, including hundreds of Looney Tunes shorts and episodes of The Flintstones.
Variety reports that seasons 16-31 of the classic cartoon series featuring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck have been removed as of December 31, 2022. However, seasons 1-15 currently remain, which include 255 shorts from the years 1930-1949. Some memorable shorts, such as "What’s Opera, Doc?," "Duck Amuck," and more are among the missing. All of the removed shorts were released between 1950-2004.

Now Playing: The Last of Us Multiplayer and HBO Show Tease | Summer Game Fest 2022
Looney Tunes isn't the only series to have its content cut from the subscription service. HBO Max has also pulled seasons 4-6 of the 1960 animated sitcom, The Flintstones. These seasons amount to 78 episodes in total, but the remaining three seasons remain.
The licensing agreement to have Looney Tunes and The Flintstones featured on HBO Max expired at the end of 2022, and it looks like the deal wasn't renewed.
Back in August of last year, 26 original TV shows and movies were pulled from HBO Max following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger. In December, it was also reported that Westworld will be removed from the service, alongside other shows such as Joss Whedon's The Nevers. These shows are apparently planned to be moved to other streaming services within the company's network and will be streamed for free.
