Sega of Europe decided to have a small presence at the actual ECTS 2000 event and showcased its games primarily at a theater in downtown London. Several actors dressed up as popular Sega characters kicked off the event. Sonic was patrolling outside the theater, while actors dressed as Ulala, several Soul Calibur characters, House of the Dead zombies, and more entertained the patrons inside.

　　The feature presentation was shown in video form on a giant 70-foot screen inside the theater. It was kicked off by a video of some Sega of Europe's television commercials, followed by a detailed look at the Dreamarena European gaming network. The video presentation was wrapped up with movie style profiles of several upcoming Sega of Europe titles including Shenmue, Virtua Tennis, Head Hunter, Ecco the Dolphin, Metropolis Street Racer, Phantasy Star Online, Skies of Arcadia, and more.

　　Sega of Europe decided to have a low-key presence at the ECTS 2000 show, but with the lineup of games shown at its downtown London event it should be a busy holiday season for the company.
