This Saturday, the EB Games Expo will open its doors to Australian gamers for the first time. Hosted up on the Gold Coast, the expo is set to give Aussies the chance to hear presentations from game developers and get hands-on time with titles like Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and more.

　　The biggest name in the lineup of speakers to be taking the stage is EA global chief operating officer, Peter Moore. The well-known EA exec is slated to give a keynote presentation before two Battlefield 3 developers step up for a live gameplay presentation.

　　Attendees will also get a unique insight into developing for the PlayStation Vita, as SCE Worldwide Studios producer John McLaughlin will give a talk on developing for Sony's new handheld.

　　On top of getting early access to games and listening to industry figures address Aussie gamers directly, there are a whole lot of other activities going on at and around the expo. Saturday sees the World Cyber Games Australian finals being played out, as well as numerous gaming-themed DJ sets being mixed by local artists. Meanwhile, Sunday, the second and last day of the show, is set to host the cosplay and FANMADE competitions. For those who like to party late into the night, there's also various after parties for attendees.
