Electronic Arts has been the target of several complaints from PC gamers in the last few years. From the SimCity debacle to various Battlefield 4 launch issues, its name was tarnished and its digital delivery platform, Origin, isn't exactly loved either.

　　However, the company is trying to make up for it. Origin Access, also known as EA Access on Xbox One, was announced two weeks ago for select territories and it's now available in Europe as well.

　　For $5/€ 4 a month, you get unrestricted access to a selection of Electronic Arts games as long as you are subscribed to the service. Moreover, you have a stackable 10% discount off any purchase in the Origin store and the ability to play a slice of upcoming EA games before they actually release.

　　MCVUK was able to speak briefly with Peter O'Reilly, Senior Marketing Director for Origin at EA, and he said that they intend to win back PC gamers with these initiatives.

　　We are on a journey to regain the trust of the PC gamer.

　　Over the last couple of years we have focused on ensuring a great play experience from launch and bringing players a better experience on Origin with programs like the Great Game Guarantee, On the House, and now Origin Access. We’re excited about the progress we’ve made, but are always pushing ourselves to innovate on behalf of players.
