A few days after announcing it was offering an internship at Maxis as a prize for its Sims 2 Student Life Movie Contest, Redwood City, California-based Electronic Arts is teaming up again with the University of Southern California. This time, the game publisher will offer aspiring female game designers a scholarship to the school's Interactive Entertainment Summer Camp. The scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors interested in becoming game-industry professionals. It is hoped that the scholarship will broaden the appeal of game design as a viable career choice for women.
