The existence of EA Sports UFC 4 was hinted at in June when a website for the unannounced game's unannounced beta showed up.
Before that, sports game writer Brian Mazique said in Fight Guys video that EA Sports UFC will be released on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X. Mazique also said that boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will appear in the game. It wouldn't be the first instance of a boxer appearing in the MMA series, as the legendary Mike Tyson was in 2018's EA Sports UFC 3.

Even before that, EA Sports UFC 4 was originally leaked through the PlayStation database earlier in June. And prior to that, UFC commentator Jon Anik let slip that EA Sports UFC 4 was in the works.
EA confirmed back in 2019 that it was reviving at least one of its dormant sports game franchises, and now all the signs are pointing to UFC.
