Battlefield publisher Electronic Arts has received a perfect score of 100 from the Human Rights Campaign as part of the group's annual Corporate Equality Index, a rating of American workplaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender equality practices. This is EA's third straight perfect score.

　　365 other businesses received a perfect score this year, including game companies such as GameStop, Microsoft, Apple, and Facebook, among others. See the full list here [PDF link].

　　The four main objectives of criteria this year were:

　　Provide equal benefits for same-sex partners and spousesEnd benefits discrimination for transgender employees and dependentsDemonstrate firm-wide organizational competency on LGBT issuesDemonstrate firm-wide public commitment to the LGBT community"We are very honored to be recognized again as a 'Best Place to Work,'" EA Diversity & Inclusion head Andre Chambers said in a statement. "We believe that fostering an inclusive environment helps us to create great games, and represent our diverse set of players and I'm proud to work at a company that has strong employee values."

　　EA took part in numerous Pride Parades around the world this year, in places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Madrid, Stockholm, Vancouver, Montreal, Austin, and Orlando. The publisher also sponsored the Lesbians Who Tech Summit and the 2014 Out for Undergrad Technology Conference.

　　The Mass Effect company also points out that in August it won the 11th Annual International Innovations in Diversity Award from Diversity Journal for its work on establishing programs that foster a more diversified and inclusive workplace.
