Now Playing: EA Play Live 2020 Livestream With Pre and Post Show
Announced during EA Play Live today, the publisher announced that EA Access will launch on Steam this fall. EA Access is a subscription program that lets you play EA's games on the platform for a fee. Subscribers can play a library of back catalog EA games and get early access to upcoming EA titles. Additionally, subscribers save 10 percent on all EA digital games and DLC.
EA Access was originally released on Xbox One in 2014 before coming to PS4 in 2019. For years, Sony said the service did not offer an appropriate level of value for PlayStation users, but the company eventually changed its mind. The PC edition of EA Access is called Origin Access, and it's available in the form of Basic and Premier subscription offerings.
It remains to be seen if the Steam edition of EA Access will have any differences than the other versions.
