Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen is soon going to debut on Nintendo Switch, and it looks like it's going to be another solid port, judging from some recent footage of the game.
The new footage, which can be watched below, has been shown during the latest episode of Capcom TV. Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen looks as good as it does on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so those getting the game on Nintendo Switch won't be missing out on anything major.
Those who wish to play the game in the best possible way need to get the PC version, as it comes with features not found in any console version.
The main draw of this PC release for all those who played on consoles clearly is the improved graphics. Actually, I should be more specific: the real game changer is the increased smoothness due to the unlocked frame rate, which now can go as high as 144Hz with the appropriate display.
This is a very important factor for an action RPG that relies so heavily on combat. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were limited to 30FPS, but now that’s all in the past and the great action in Dragon’s Dogma can really shine.
There are several improvements to the graphics itself, of course, starting with the uncompressed assets and support for up to 4K resolution.
Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen launches on Nintendo Switch on April 23rd.
