Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the new entry of the series currently in development by Dimps, is one of the many games Bandai Namco is showing during Tokyo Game Show 2016, which is being held until the end of the week. A few hours ago, a new gameplay video has emerged from the event, showing plenty of gameplay.
The new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 gameplay video showcases a Saiyan and Majin Custom characters as they unleash some very powerful special techniques. Just like in the original game, players will be able to customize their characters in a lot of different ways.
Bandai Namco also shared some new details regarding the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 closed and open betas for Japan. The closed beta will be held for Japanese players from October 8th until October 10th and can only be accessed by receiving an invitation or redeeming a code found in the upcoming issue of the magazine V-Jump. The open beta will be held a few days later, from October 14th until October 16th. Dates for North America and Europe have yet to be confirmed, but they shouldn't be too far from the Japanese ones.
Last week, plenty of new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 screenshots have been made available online, showcasing characters, customization features, interactions and more.
Last month, we had the chance to try out Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 during Gamescom 2016, checking out first hand some of the new multiplayer features which promise to make the whole experience more varied and engaging. The game as a whole may not play all that differently from the previous entries, but Dimps has done its best to address some of the criticism, so those who enjoyed Dragon Ball Xenoverse will surely like its sequel.
