Epic Games teased that Fortnite Battle Royale would make its way to iOS and then Android later on. Today is the big day and you can download the game on your iPhone and iPad.

The Official Fortnite Battle Royale Game from Epic Games is Finally Available for iOS

　　First and foremost, the game is invite-only for now. Sure, you can download it on your device, which requires 2GB of free space by the way, but you can't actually start playing without an invite from another player or Epic Games itself. In order to sign up for an invite code, simply head over to this link in your web browser. Once you're done, all you have to do is wait for the invite to arrive. Once it does, you'll know what to do next.

　　If you don’t receive an invite right away, don’t worry. We’ll be adding new players regularly over the coming months. Players who receive invites from Epic will also get friend invite codes to share with others.

　　Apart from the invite-only thing, the game is an iOS 11-exclusive and will not work on devices running iOS 10 or older. It's best to upgrade now if you have been waiting for the game to arrive. Also, the game will not work on every device. You should have at least an iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2 or the latest 9.7-inch iPad. Also, since this is a multiplayer game, therefore it requires a constant internet connection.

　　Is the game different from that available on other platforms? Not at all. In fact, there's even optional cross-play with consoles and PC.

　　Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile devices! On phones and tablets, Fortnite is the same 100-player game you know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates.
