Oct 22, 2024 9:30 PM

A couple of weeks back, some advanced settings were found in the DOOM multiplayer closed beta such as frame rate options, Light, Shading, Shadows and Post Process quality and more. Today, Bethesda and id Software have further elaborated on these advanced settings, revealed what will be included in the PC version at launch.

Thanks to the Closed and Open DOOM multiplayer beta, the team has managed to get a lot of feedback from the PC community regarding a variety of matters, such as capped framerates, monitor support, multi-monitor support and more. As PC gaming is in the core of id Software, the team will include a variety of advanced settings that will be available in the PC version at launch such as uncapped framerate, ultra-wide 21:9 monitors and more.

PC gaming is in our DNA here at id. Just like so many of you, we also love to tinker with settings to get the exact experience we want – and every ounce of performance our systems can handle. We will be running an uncapped framerate on PC at launch, supporting ultra-wide 21:9 monitors, allowing wider FOV, and providing a wide variety of advanced settings that allows any PC connoisseur the opportunity to make intelligent tradeoffs between visual fidelity and performance.

Here are the advanced settings the team will include in DOOM at launch.
