DOOM Eternal has been delayed on all platforms, and will release early next year worldwide.

　　Bethesda and id Software confirmed today that the game has been delayed so that it can live up to the standards of speed and polish the series is known for. The game will be released on March 20th, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version will be coming at a later time.

　　Additionally, it's also been confirmed that the game's Invasion mode, which allows players to take on the role of a demon invading other players' games will be added to the game after launch with a free update.

　　To make sure we’re delivering the best experience — for DOOM Eternal to live up to our standards of speed and polish — we’ve made the decision to extend our launch date by a few months to March 20, 2020. We know many fans will be disappointed by this delay, but we are confident that DOOM Eternal will deliver a gaming experience that is worth the wait.

　　DOOM Eternal is the direct sequel of DOOM 2016. The game will feature several improvements over its predecessor as well as the same engaging experience the series has always been known for.
