　　To prepare a great Apple Pie in Dreamlight Valley, you must gather the right ingredients first. The recipe requires three different elements, which are:

Once you place them in it and start cooking, you will get your Apple Pie in a few seconds. And don’t forget about coal, as you need this material to make any dish. You can break rocks in the Valley with your Pickaxe to find and collect the coal ore.

How to get Apples

Apples grow on the trees in the Plaza, and you can collect this precious fruit from them. You will also find apple trees in the Forgotten Lands, but that’s an expensive area to unlock early on. It requires 15,000 Dreamlight and can only be accessed from the Sunlit Plateau, which requires 7,000 Dreamlight to remove the Night Thorns blocking its entrance. Therefore, the best option is getting apples from the Plaza, at least until you have enough Dreamlight to unlock these biomes.

　　Alternatively, you can buy apples from Goofy’s Stall at Peaceful Meadow for 50 Star Coins each. If you don’t see them, upgrade the Stall to see more available items.

　　

How to get Wheat

You can get wheat or wheat seeds from Goofy’s Stall at Peaceful Meadow and then use this cereal to prepare the Apple Pie. The fully grown ingredient will cost you 3 Star Coins, while the seeds only cost 1 Star Coin each and grow fast. It requires just one minute to get wheat once you have planted it.

　　

How to get Butter

Butter can be bought from Chez Remy’s Pantry. You must unlock the Ratatouille realm and complete the An Important Night at the Restaurant quest, given to you by Remy, to bring this little chef to the Valley. You’ll need to prepare the perfect Ratatouille in Dreamlight Valley to get it done.

　　Then, the A Restaurant Makeover quest will wait for you. Once completed, you can access Remy’s restaurant and easily buy butter for 190 Star Coins whenever you need it.
