The original Diablo has been released a very long time ago, and, despite its success, hasn't been ported to a lot of different hardware. The game is also not available on modern consoles, but some Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play it starting today.

　　DevilutionX, which is a version of Diablo which has been developed using code obtained by reverse engineering the original game, has been recently ported to Nintendo Switch. Not all consoles can run the game, however, as you need to be able to run homebrew to play the port. More information can be found here.

　　In 1996 Blizzard Entertainment released Diablo, an Action RPG that sold over 2.5 million copies and defined a genre.
