Diablo 4 has set another record for Blizzard, crossing $666 million within five days of its full launch. Blizzard had previously revealed that Diablo 4 was its fastest selling game ever, although no sales figures were revealed at that time.
Detailed in a press release, Blizzard has announced that Diablo 4 has crossed the $666 million milestone within five days of its launch. It's important to note that Blizzard is using June 6 as its official launch date, even though the early access period began on June 1, which players could gain access to by buying special editions of Diablo 4. Blizzard has not revealed how many copies of Diablo 4 that have been sold, and the $666 million also includes microtransactions from Diablo 4's in-game shop, which includes some expensive armor sets.

Now Playing: Diablo 4 Video Review
Blizzard also shared some other in-game milestones that players have reached, like the total play-time passing 276 million hours. During that playtime players have killed 276 billion demons and died 316 million times. Blizzard also confirmed that 163 players have reached the maximum level in Hardcore mode, where death is permanent.
Diablo 4 is just getting started, too, with its first live-service season coming in the next month or so. Season 1 is also when Diablo 4 will get its first battle pass, which could help boost Diablo 4's microtransaction sales. Blizzard has also already confirmed that there are two expansions in the works for Diablo 4, showing that the developer plans to support Diablo 4 for a long time. Dataminers have also found evidence of higher world tiers and gem rarities, suggesting that even more content is on its way.
