Devil May Cry 5 is the first entry in the series to sport three different playable characters, not counting those that have been added to Devil May Cry 4 through the Special Edition, and it seems like we may be getting others after the game launches.
Speaking in an interview with Korean website Game Shot, director Hideaki Itsuno confirmed that there is the possibility of additional playable characters if players want them and make their voices heard. As both Trish and Lady appear in the game, it's likely that they would be among the additions, alongside fan favorite Vergil.
Hideaki Itsuno also commented on the game's length, saying that it will take 15 hours to complete, which is a much longer playtime than those of the previous entries in the series.
Yesterday, it's been confirmed that a new Devil May Cry 5 playable demo will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month. The old Xbox One exclusive demo has also been delisted from the Microsoft Store, meaning that it cannot be downloaded.
Devil May Cry 5 launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8th. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
