GameSpot News confirmed today the development of the Biohazard gun shooting title. Tentatively entitled Biohazard Gun Survivor, players will use unique controls to travel on a 3D map in Namco's GunCon. When you hit the trigger once, your character will move forward. Press the trigger when you're moving forward, and your character will start running. Pressing the trigger twice quickly lets you move backward. The A button lets you turn left turn, and the B button lets you turn right. When zombies appear on the screen, players will use the GunCon to shoot at them. The scenario is done by Capcom's subsidiary Flagship.
The game is scheduled for a January 2000 release in Japan. We'll have screenshots for you during our TGS coverage.
