The Forsaken expansion has implemented a number of changes in Destiny 2, but players have started encountering a number of noticeable issues. After monitoring player response, Bungie has posted a statement detailing how the development team is handling four of Forsaken's larger problems.
Perhaps the largest issue is a result of a faulty milestone reset on September 8. Players who completed any of the weekly Gambit, Crucible, and Heroic Story challenges after this reset are not receiving the correct high-level rewards and will not receive a proper reset on Tuesday. Because Tuesday's reset is the last one before the Raid on Friday, players who encountered this issue may be unable or struggle to become Raid-ready in time.

Now Playing: Destiny 2: Forsaken Video Review In Progress
One of Forsaken's other issues also has to do with the upcoming Raid. A glitch has allowed players to get into the Raid space prior to its launch and claim new gear. In response, Bungie is implementing a hot fix to stop the gear from appearing until the Raid launches. Players who have managed to glitch into the Raid and claim early rewards will not be penalized, and their new gear will not be taken away.
Another issue plaguing Forsaken is causing players to be suspended from Gambit after Destiny 2 experiences disconnection issues. The suspensions aren't very long--only 15 minutes--but they're annoying if they ever happen multiple times in a row.
The final issue Bungie is working on is an exploit that allows players to earn Prime Engrams at too fast a pace. Bungie already has a fix for the problem, but it hasn't been implemented yet. Once updated, any players who have participated in the exploit will temporarily lose the ability to find more Prime Engrams. Those who don't use the exploit will not be affected. If you've already tried the exploit, you'll have two to three weeks down the road where you can't find Prime Engrams.
Bungie is updating Destiny 2 with several hot fixes to address these issues, as well as a few smaller problems that have popped up in Forsaken. The first one is already live.
Destiny 2 is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Our Forsaken review is still in progress, but we're currently giving the expansion an 8/10. We'll be updating the review after completing the Raid.
