Developers have decided to extend Destiny 2 beta to perform other tests on game servers. Bungie has stated that the beta has been very useful to fine-tune the online infrastructure and optimization work will continue for another 48 hours.
Although the duration of Public Beta has been extended, the client will be available for download from Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Store until 2:00 pm on Monday, July 24th.
On the other hand, the developers have pointed out that this extension will allow more dangerous experiences, so do not be surprised if you encounter any problems of stability during your games.
As a reminder, the Destiny 2 beta will be held in August on PC, and the final version of Destiny 2 is scheduled to release on September 6th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while PC users will have to wait for October 24th.
Destiny 2 is one of the biggest titles this year and its leap to the PC promises to significantly expand the number of Guardians thanks to two extremely powerful weapons in the genre of FPS: the mouse and the keyboard. What is clear is that there is a ton of loot scattered throughout the universe waiting for us to get our hands on it.
