The day before Derby Stallion's scheduled release in Japan, ASCII says that orders for its new PlayStation horse racing simulation game have topped one million.
While horse racing simulators have not appeared on US shores - imagine the uproar from Congress, attacking a game based solely on gambling - this genre remains extremely popular in Japan.
The game, which ships today, has just about zero chance of coming to the US.
