Japan's most popular horse-racing simulator is coming soon to the Nintendo Super Famicom (known as the Super Nintendo in the US). Derby Stallion will be released this summer, with a Game Boy version this winter and a Nintendo 64 version due out next spring. The creator of the series, Hiroyuki Sonobe, implied that the N64 version will be able to communicate with the Game Boy version through a 64GB cable, which enables you to use the Game Boy as an N64 controller.
Those three games will be developed in conjunction with Parity Bit, Ascii, and Axela and will be released from Nintendo. Derby Stallion was first released for the Famicom back in 1991. Since then gamers have proclaimed it as best horse-racing sim game ever. The latest version of Derby Stallion for the PlayStation was released last year and has sold more than 1.5 million copies.
