Demon's Souls has been rated in South Korea, which suggests the game might be just a few months away from launching. This could potentially put it in the release window of the PS5--if not on the day the console launches, at least a few weeks afterwards. The game has only been announced for PS5, so this isn't a case of it arriving on PS4 before the fact.
Demon's Souls' long-awaited remake, courtesy of Bluepoint Studios, was revealed during Sony's first PlayStation 5 showcase. While a release date was not hinted at during that reveal, this recent ratings listing indicating it might not be far away.

Ratings listings are different to retail listings in that they generally only occur close to launch. Right now, the only other Sony title listed on the same ratings board is Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which Sony has said is coming this holiday with the PS5. As Gematsu points out too, past listings on the South Korean ratings board have all taken place within a handful of months before release.

Sony still has a lot to communicate with regards to the PS5, most importantly its price. Another PS5 stream is supposedly taking place this month still, hot on the heels of the console's first global ad spot. Developers on PS5 exclusives have also detailed some of the features they're baking into the console's new DualSense controller, from locking triggers to directional vibration.

Demon's Souls originally launched on the PS3 and exclusively in Japan, before making its way to the West. In GameSpot's original Demon's Souls review, critic Kevin Van Ord praised what would become a new genre, saying, "If you crave true innovation, a fair but relentless challenge, and gripping exploration in which every step has consequences, then you crave Demon's Souls."
