Japanese magazine Famitsu has recently revealed in its latest issue that Dear or Alive Xtreme 3 is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Siliconera managed to translate more details on the game as they were shared by Producer Yosuke Hayashi.
Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will use the Soft Engine 2.0 (whose purpose is to make characters skin look more natural) for the PS4 version of the game, while the Vita will get a customized Soft Engine Lite. On the other hand, the portable version will feature touch panel and gyro sensor functionalities.
Hayashi clarified that not all female characters of the main Dead or Alive series are going to appear in Xtreme 3, though he did not mention anything about specific characters yet.
You might think that Koei Tecmo would set up a DLC plan to eventually release all those characters that won't be in at launch, but that's not the case at all, apparently. A camera mode has been confirmed, too.
Finally, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is set to release in Japan and Asia first and foremost, but there might hope for a Western release provided that there is enough demand. If you really want this to happen, voice your opinion to Koei Tecmo via social media and perhaps the publisher will take note.
