Becki the Bride is the first real boss you will encounter in Dead Island 2 and the first zombie that might give you a hard time. After exploring the Halperin Hotel and finally reaching the third floor, you will find her in the ballroom at the end of the "Room Service for Major Booker" main quest. While she looks threatening, you can win the fight pretty quickly if you learn her moves and how to counterattack at the right time.

How to defeat Becki the Bride in Dead Island 2

　　Moreover, she features a devastating third move that will damage and briefly stun you, making you fall to the ground and exposing you to her attacks. She will jump and hit the floor with her fists, releasing a shockwave around her that will make you fall. The only way to avoid this is by jumping as well when you see it coming. You can also try to reach a safe distance from her, but the ballroom where the boss fight occurs isn’t too large. In other words, you can easily fall to the ground after this attack, so jump whenever she jumps. You might need a few tries before you get the timing right, but this will significantly help you during the battle. You will find some med kits in the room if you need to replenish your health.

　　Becki isn’t the fastest zombie out there, so you can hit her from behind a couple of times before she properly reacts. If you want to benefit from environmental damage, you will find a water jerrycan on the left of the table with the radio, looking towards the stage. You can launch it at her and use a weapon with the Electroconductor Mod equipped to hit her. This way, you can deal shock damage to the boss and also electrify her momentarily. Some other zombies will eventually join the fight, but they are mostly Walkers and not a real threat during this mission. You can use the Meat Bait Curveball to get them away from the center of the ballroom and continue fighting Becki.

　　Once the Bride has taken enough damage, she will fall on her knees, and this will be your chance to deal as much damage as possible, as she will become vulnerable. She will eventually get back on her feet and start hitting even harder, and she will perform two jump attacks in a row, so be prepared for this. Continue dodging her punches, kicks, and hitting her, and you will soon defeat this boss. When done, the quest will be completed.
