Montreal-based developer Behaviour Interactive is mainly known for the horror crossover franchise Dead by Daylight, but they actually have an all-new IP coming out next month, entitled Meet Your Maker. For those who haven’t been keeping up, Meet Your Maker is all about building and raiding, as players will be able to create their own blocky dungeon-like outposts in order to mine precious “pure genetic material.” Ah, but once you’ve created an outpost, other players can try to best your trap-and-mutant-filled challenges in order to steal your genetic material. Basically, it’s Doom, meets Minecraft, meets Mario Maker, which sounds like a pretty solid concept to me!

　　But maybe you’re not convinced? Well, the barrier to entry is going to be pretty low if you happen to be a PlayStation owner, as the game will be a Day 1 PlayStation Plus release in April for everybody signed up for the basic “Essential” tier. 　　Obviously, Meet Your Maker is going to be a game that will live or die based on the strength of its community, so launching on gaming service on Day 1 makes sense. Interesting that Behaviour went with PS Plus instead of Game Pass, but perhaps Sony made the deal worth their while. Need to know more about Meet Your Maker? Here are a few key features…
