Dave Perry, president of Shiny Entertainment, recently posted some good news for Dreamcast owners on the official Messiah message board: Messiah is coming to Dreamcast.
"Considering the amount of requests we have had on the subject, and to demonstrate that we at Shiny do indeed listen... I have decided today (actually just now) that we will do a Dreamcast version of Messiah," said Perry. "We will not be giving it to another team. We will do it ourselves and do it the way it's supposed to be done." So, there you have it, straight from the top man himself.
Perry also threw in, "I think that based on the unique style of gameplay, it will add really nicely to the Dreamcast's game library." We'd have to agree.
So far, no release date for the Dreamcast version has been given, but sources indicate that the game could arrive sometime during Q3 2000. The PlayStation version is still in development by Shiny, but there's always the chance that a PlayStation2 version will come in its place.
