Last week, the PC version of Dark Souls 3, the latest entry of the series developed by From Software, received a new update which introduced some anti-cheating methods that should have made the experience more enjoyable for all those playing the game online. Unfortunately, the patch came with some criticial issues which made it almost impossible for most to play the game even offline. Earlier this week, the 1.4.01 update has been removed, with the game reverting to the previous version, but a few hours ago the update has been made available again.
According to a variety of reports on the game's Steam Community forums, it seems like the stuttering and freezing issues introduced by the patch last week have been mostly fixed. We will keep you updated if any new issue is discovered in the next few hours.
