A few days ago, a new set of online regulations has been introduced in Dark Souls 3, featuring some game balance adjustments for Greatsword, Dancer’s Enchanted Sword, Winged Knight Twinaxes, Soul’s Greatsword and Farron Flashsword, a fix for issues where multiple items become impossible to use in a few areas after clearing the game and additional undefined general balance adjustments and bug fixes. Today, From Software has confirmed that another update is going to be released soon, as well as a new set of online regulations.
According to the Japanese patch notes shared on the Dark Souls 3 Official Japanese website, the new Dark Souls 3 app update, 1.04, and the new online regulations, version 1.05 will introduce changes to NPC questlines, which should become easier to complete, as well as tweaks for some Covenants and plenty of other fixes. From Software has also confirmed that there will be a server maintenance before the new update's release. A release date has yet to be confirmed on all formats, but more on the matter should be coming soon.
Like many modern games, Dark Souls 3 also includes plenty of unused content. Last week, several screenshots of the game's unused content have surfaced online, showcasing armor sets, NPCs without their helmets, weapons and more. As most of this content seems to be functional, it wouldn't be surprising for it to become available following the release of the game's DLC packs, the first of them launching later this year on all formats.
Dark Souls 3 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will update you on the English patch notes as soon as they become available so stay tuned for all the latest news on From Software's popular action role playing game.
