Vicarious Visions released the shareware demo of its side scroller Dark Angael today. The demo includes six single-player levels and one multiplayer deathmatch arena.
In the game, players take the role of the Dark Angael, named Carina (shades of Lara Croft), to battle "creatures of unimaginable horror" in the Cathedral of Avalon.
The company expects to release the full game on Sept. 29. But the game will only be available through Vicarious Visions for its first month of release. Players will be able to order the game directly from the company's web site.
