Cyberpunk 2077 is getting some path tracing improvements in the near future, but those who cannot wait to experience the excellent open-world role-playing game by CD Projekt Red with it can use a new mod to improve both visual quality and performance.

　　The Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, introduces a lot of tweaks that improve path tracing performance by 40% with minimal impact on visual quality, reduce stuttering, fix crushed blacks, and even enhance visual quality. The performance improvements are especially welcome, as they will allow even those without an RTX 4080 or 4090 GPU to enjoy path tracing with acceptable performance.

　　Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the two games currently available to support path tracing and NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction. The recent Alan Wake II update introduced a new version of NVIDIA's tech that brings some definitive improvements in CDPR's game as well.
