Gamestop's internal sales system has seemingly listed the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition for a release next month.
As spotted by Cheap Ass Gamer (@videogamedeals) on X (formerly known as Twitter), GameStop's internal system has an SKU for this new ultimate edition. According to the listing, this edition will retail for $59.99 on both PS5 and Xbox Series. No additional details have been provided, but this version will likely include the base game of Cyberpunk 2077 and the recently released Phantom Liberty expansion. An interesting tidbit is that the Phantom Liberty expansion sells for $29.99 on both the PlayStation and Xbox Stores, and the main game can often be found as low as $19.99 (sometimes less than that) for both platforms. There's also a digital Cyberpunk 2077/Phantom Liberty bundle available in the stores which currently sells for between $70 and $79.99, but can often be purchased digitally for around $50.

Last month, during an investor call, CD Projekt RED's chief commercial officer, Michał Nowakowski, already mentioned the release of the new edition. “In terms of a new edition, collector’s edition, we don’t know the name yet, but when the time comes, we’ll let you know", he said (thanks VGC). Interestingly, the PEGI also recently rated an "Ultimate Edition" for Cyberpunk 2077, but this rating has since been removed. For the sake of completeness, we've included a screenshot of this listing below:
Cyberpunk 2077 is available worldwide now for PC and consoles. The Phantom Liberty expansion has been released exclusively for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Here's what we wrote about the expansion in our launch review:
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU).
