Cyberpunk 2077 is going to feature a lot of different quests, and some of them are going to make players cry.
Speaking with Game Reactor, Cyberpunk 2077 lead quest designer Paweł Sasko talked about the game's emotional impact on players, highlighting how quests are going to make players feel a lot of different emotions. Some of these quests will also make players cry.
Oh I hope so! Believe me guys, what we are doing here - we are going to make you cry, there's no other way. Believe me, we'll do everything to just grab the player and keep them glued to the screen.
I think there's gonna be joy, there's gonna be tears, and there's gonna be laughter, and yeah there's gonna be anger. We are going to give you all that, because this is what we are doing. Like that's one of my main goals - I wanna move the players, like they are going to feel it so hard, and we are coming for you.
Last week, CD Projekt RED confirmed that they are not working on three separate Cyberpunk 2077 projects, as previously rumored.
We currently have a total of five teams working on a number of projects, with three focusing on the development of Cyberpunk 2077. These include CD Projekt Red Warsaw and Kraków, who are handling the main game, as well as the Wrocław studio, where around 40 industry specialists are engaged in technology R&D. A separate, dedicated team at the Warsaw studio is handling the development of Gwent. The final team is Spokko, which is currently working on a yet unannounced mobile project.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16th 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
