The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty has yet to receive a release date, but it seems like the announcement is imminent, judging from pre-orders going up early on GOG.
As reported on the game's subreddit, a pre-order page for the expansion has gone up earlier than intended, as the actual listing could not be accessed in any way. Despite this, we did get some new information on the expansion, as the GOG listing confirmed the €29,99 price for Europe, suggesting that the expansion will likely cost $29,99 in the US.
As we only got a small look at the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty expansion last year, there isn't a whole lot we currently know about it other than the fact that it will be set in a new Night City district called Godtown and that it will star a new character called Reed who will be played by renowned British actor Idris Elba. The expansion will also be CDPR's most expensive expansion to date, so it will be very interesting to see what the Polish developer will deliver with its latest work, which is supposedly releasing this August.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty launches on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date. As the expansion will be shown during Summer Game Fest 2023 later today, we will likely learn when it is launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S soon, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
