Plantronics, creator of the Xbox Live headset controller, said it would introduce a custom, high-end headset for the upcoming release of Halo 2. The officially licensed GameCom Halo 2 Edition headset is branded with the Halo 2 name and logo, and it will feature an optimized speaker, a noise-canceling microphone, and "custom fit." It ships to retail in October 2004, at an MSRP of $49.99.
