With the destruction of their natural habitat, the giant beasts known as pinball machines that once dominated the arcade landscape are a dying breed. They're also prime fodder for digital preservation, because Crave Entertainment today announced a follow-up to its 2004 and 2005 console and handheld versions of Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection.
Set for release later this year, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection collects eight of the manufacturer's tables from decades past into a compilation for release on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii. Among the tables included are Black Knight, Space Shuttle, and Gorgar. FarSight Studios, the company behind the first Pinball Hall of Fame game, will also be handling development of the follow-up.
