Crave announces UFC sequel-September 2024

  Crave Entertainment has announced the sequel to the popular Dreamcast fighting game Ultimate Fighting Championship. The new game, titled Ultimate Fighting Championship: Tapout, will include several new real-life UFC athletes, enhanced graphics, and several new modes of play. New fighters such as classic UFC combatant Tank Abbot and current heavyweight champion Randy Couture will join the cast of UFC superstars, which includes Pedro Rizzo, Matt Hughes, Mark Coleman, and current middleweight champion Tito Ortiz. Additionally, Crave will add two new tournament modes, with eight-player and 16-player tournament-style events. Returning gameplay modes such as the arcade and career modes will be also be expanded. Finally, the training and create-a-fighter modes will have more options and features.

  "UFC: Tapout plans to build upon the firm foundation already laid out by the original best-selling title," said Holly Newman, executive vice president for Crave Entertainment. "The UFC branding is quickly becoming synonymous with groundbreaking gameplay and the most realistic visuals offered on a home console system. Expect nothing less from UFC: Tapout."

  UFC: Tapout will be released this June.
